Privacy Policy

ToolKendra has no accounts, no login, and no backend server for its actual tools. Every calculation, conversion, and typing tool runs entirely in your browser — a mobile number, a date, an amount you type into a tool is never sent to us or anyone else.

This site is also part of the Nepalwide network of tools and sites, and uses a few small, non-tracking cookies to remember your theme and language preference across that network, plus standard Google Analytics for overall traffic stats. Neither of those are new-and-hidden — see the two sections below for exactly what they do.

We don't ask for your name, email, or any account information, because there are no accounts.

Tool inputs and results (the numbers, dates, and text you type into a converter or calculator) are never transmitted anywhere — there's no server for them to go to. Some tools save your recent activity or favorites in your browser's own local storage so they're there next time you visit; that data stays on your device and is never sent to us.

ToolKendra is one of several sites in the Nepalwide network, which share a common look and a couple of small preferences so switching between them feels consistent. Two cookies — one for your light/dark theme choice, one for your English/Nepali language choice — are shared across every site under nepalwide.org for this purpose. A third cookie keeps a short list of which Nepalwide sites you've recently visited, so a shared "recently used" menu can show it — this list only ever contains site names, never anything about what you did on them.

None of these three cookies identify who you are, and none are used for advertising or cross-site tracking of your behavior — they exist purely to remember a UI preference and a short visit history across our own network of sites.

This site uses Google Analytics (Google's gtag.js) to understand overall traffic — things like which pages are visited, roughly how many people visit, and general browser/device/location information inferred from your connection. This helps us see which tools are actually useful and worth improving, and doesn't include anything you type into a tool itself.

See Google's own privacy documentation for details on what Google Analytics collects and how Google handles it. If you use a browser extension or setting that blocks analytics scripts, that will prevent this from running — nothing on this site depends on it working.

This site loads web fonts (Noto Sans Devanagari and JetBrains Mono) from Google Fonts' content delivery network. Loading any web resource means your browser sends a request that includes your IP address to that host — this is standard for any site using externally hosted fonts, and is outside our control. See Google's own privacy documentation for details on how they handle that data.

This site is hosted as static files on Cloudflare Pages. Like virtually all web hosts, the infrastructure serving this site may log basic technical request data (such as IP address, requested URL, and timestamp) for security and reliability purposes. We don't access, analyze, or use these logs for tracking individual visitors.

If ToolKendra ever adds functionality that changes what data is collected, this page will be updated to reflect that before the change goes live.
